If you have read some of my siblings bloggs you know that we had a small disaster in our back yard a couple of weeks ago. Early Sunday morning we got a knock on the door saying that the wall behind the house had collapsed. Wow, what a surprise. Ever since the cinder block wall was built we knew it was a disaster waiting to happen. The pictures tell the story.
The other night we were sitting around trying to decide what to do. Sharla told us about her and Allie bowling on the Wii the night before. This gave us the great idea of going to a real bowling alley. When we got there we ended up waiting for a lane. Andy and Danna played a little pool and then we were able to bowl. I was excited that I had the top score for the girls and Bob was the top scorer for the boys. I think this was the best I had ever played. I got two strikes in a row but then I messed it up and only got a spare. No Turkey for me.
I know it seems that we keep bringing up how much fun we have playing Rockband but it does seemed to be our best from entertainment these days. For Family Home Evening we decided to get together as a family. We had all of my brothers and sisters with there families and my cousins and their families. We ended up having about 45 people there. We had a great time rocking out in Sharla’s theater room. They cranked up the sound so that you felt like you were at a real concert it was so loud. While the adults were rocking out the smaller kids were playing in the playroom, playing on the Wii, or playing rockband in the family room. The adults pretty much kicked them out of the theater room so they could act like rock stars.
